Download Optifine:
On a separate, dedicated download page, OptiFine hosts its downloads. By visiting this or by clicking the large Download OptiFine button above, you can get to the OptiFine download page. You will by default see the most recent version on the OptiFine download page. By selecting the “Show all versions” link, you can view earlier versions of OptiFine. Then, all previous iterations will show up. Fortunately, the download and installation steps are the same for all OptiFine versions. Once you’ve found the version of OptiFine you want to download, click on the “mirror” link to the right of this version to start the download.
Bypassing an advertisement will take you directly to the download page for that version. There will be a download button below the file on this page on the actual download page for the version of OptiFine you desire. The download of OptiFine will start once you click this button. Your browser may require you to keep or save the file. Now that OptiFine has been downloaded, we can install it.
Install Optifine:
Opening the OptiFine Installer is the first step in this process. This is the OptiFine file you downloaded. Right-click the installer and select “Open with” to launch it. Next, select “Java” and press “Okay”. It is very simple to install OptiFine once the OptiFine Installer is open. Simply click the “Install” button to begin installing the mod. A box confirming the successful installation of OptiFine will show up after a short while.
