Let’s get to know a little bit about him before I tell you the reason for his sad demise.
WHO WAS TECHNOBLADE?
He was a famous Minecraft streamer who sadly passed away recently,
Technoblade was a YouTube gamer best known for his Minecraft content.
He grew up in California and started YouTube while still in high school.
The majority of Technoblade’s videos were created on the Minecraft server Hypixel.
Before he became famous, his 500th episode special, titled “Ultimate Hunger Games,” was his most-viewed video.
Techno never performed an official “face reveal.”
However, his face can be seen in his subscribers’ special video, “Cooking with Technoblade.”
Technoblade reached 10 million subscribers on his channel right on New Year’s Eve in 2022.
The death of Minecraft legend Technoblade has thrown the gaming community into mourning over the last few days.
WHAT WAS THE CAUSE OF HIS DEMISE:
The YouTuber revealed his first name, Alex, in his tragic final video.
The original Minecraft player reportedly died at the end of last month from a rare type of cancer known as sarcoma.
Fans and gaming personalities from all over the world have flooded social media with encouraging messages, fan art, and stories to support Alex.
Alex announced his cancer diagnosis in August 2021 and has since used his YouTube videos and streams to raise funds for the SFA (Sarcoma Foundation of America).
According to the SFA website, the stream completely surpassed the $250k fundraising goal, with total donations totaling $351,087.68.
Sarcoma research is the primary goal of the donation, and the disease is a very rare type of cancer, according to the website.
The Sarcoma Foundation of America has thanked the YouTuber for his contributions.
They have also announced that they will present Technoblade with their Courage Award at the Sarcoma Gala this September:
WHEN DID ALEX DISCOVER HE HAD CANCER?
Alex revealed in August 2021 that he had misdiagnosed the pain in his right hand as a form of repetitive stress disorder, but the doctors had bad news.
In a December update video, Alex discussed the amputation scare he received when doctors informed his family that they could amputate his infected arm.
However, after some deliberation, they decided against it.
His father shared a message from his son announcing the streamer’s death on June 30 in a YouTube video titled “so long nerds.”
“Hello everyone, Technoblade here,” said the message.
“If you’re seeing this, I am dead.”
“Thank you for your continued support of my content over the years.
If I had another hundred lives, I’d choose to be Technoblade every time because those were the happiest years of my life.”
Technoblade wrote his final message to his fans about eight hours before he died, according to his father.
This guy is a real hero. Even when he was dying he expressed his gratitude to his fans and fought bravely till the end.
