Netherite dethroned Diamond as the best Ore in the Nether Update. As Netherite is stronger than Diamond in every aspect, it is much rarer than Diamonds. It isn’t even available in the overworld, you can only find Netehrite in the Nether, and many players believe that most of the Netherite are found around y level 12.
Over the years, players have come up with new and innovative ways to get more Netherite in less time, and in this article, we’ll shed light on the Top 5 most popular methods.
Important: The list is ranked based on difficulty, with 1 being the most straightforward method and 5 being the hardest.
1. Bastian Remnant Loot
The Bastian Remnant is a new structure added to the Nether in the Nether Update. It is like a vast fortress where the Piglins live. It is filled with loot. You can easily find a ton of Gold in the Bastain along with Netherite.
You may find Ancient debris, Netherite Scraps, or even Ingots in the chest loots of Bastian. This makes this method the easiest as you just have to go to the Bastain and look around. If you’re wearing a Golden armor piece, you won’t be attacked by normal Piglins, so you only have to worry about Piglin Brute. But if you’re good in PvP, this is the best way to find Netherite.
2. Strip Mining
Next up on the list, we have the classic method of mining anything in the game, Strip Mining!
The technique has been a part of Minecraft since its inception and only recently was made ineffective after the caves and cliffs update. But you’d be glad to hear that the method still works like a charm in the Nether.
It is easy, you just need a Diamond Pikckaxe with some good enchantments, and you’re on your way to mine Netherite.
3. TNT Mining
TNT Mining is similar to Strip Mining, but instead of mining every block with your Pikckaxe, you place a TNT and blow it up!
This does two things. First, save you a ton of time as many blocks get mined instantly. Second, more blocks are exposed, so you’re not limited to a single level like in strip mining with a pickaxe.
The only downside is that you need a lot of Gun powder to craft these TNTs, but if you have a creeper farm, this won’t be hard.
4. Bed Mining
Like TNT Mining, in Bed Mining, you replace the TNT with Bed, and the rest is easy. Dig a hole, place a bed in it, and try to sleep on it. The bed’s explosion will expose many blocks; if you’re lucky, one of these blocks will be Ancient debris.
5. End Crystal Mining
The name is pretty self-explanatory; you use End Crystals to mine Netherite. This is obviously overkilled; you don’t need to create such a massive explosion to find debris, but if you have some sort of farm that allows you to craft a lot of end crystals, by all means, use this method.
