The general public thinks that Minecraft is just a block-based game.
They don’t realize the infinite freedom that exists there.
In Minecraft, you can create anything, be whoever or whatever you want to be, and build whatever heck you want to.
Here are ten crazy Minecraft builds of all time!
10) A Magical Night by The Voxel Box:
Four years ago, HyperScale uploaded this picture to r/Minecraft.
Reddit users were astounded by this fantastical town.
Over 1.4 thousand times were spent voting up the image.
It was constructed by three players, Spectercody, Sounas, and Doublenum, according to the comments.
It was rendered for our enjoyment by HyperScale.
I imagine that this Disney-inspired map will be very popular with young children!
9) Defenseless by ShapeScape:
The Barbarians Are Coming! The competition hosted by Planet Minecraft awarded first place to Defenseless.
The seven deadly sins were a fun concept for the ShapeScape team to explore.
A city that is encircled by a massive wall and has war machines ready to destroy it can be seen on the entire map.
8) A Lunar Dream by Everbloom Studios:
The Head into the Clouds Project Contest third-place winner was greatly influenced by astrology.
The citadel is surrounded by numerous floating planets, and the homes of many mythical creatures are pink trees.
The team believes that A Lunar Dream symbolizes Heaven.
Only those with pure hearts are allowed to enter this place.
7) Hearthveil – Lost in Thought by Pandora’s Blocks:
The creation of this fantastical forest required the efforts of ten people over a month.
Although the team no longer appears to have a functioning official website, archives of their work can still be found on Planet Minecraft under Hydraxus’s account.
6) The City of Adamantis by jamdelaney1:
Only two other entries on this list were completed by a small group of individuals.
In about three months, Planet Minecraft user jamdelaney1 built Adamantis, the City of the Gods.
Only three of his original designs have been submitted since he was last active, seven years ago.
5) Deep Sea by BlockWorks:
One of the best build teams in the world is BlockWorks.
However, calling them a “build team” is an understatement.
They are much more than that in reality, with prestigious clients like Warner Brothers, Disney, Verizon, and Dell, they are a design studio and consultancy.
4) Macabre Infestation by Athion:
In just 3 days, 5 people constructed Macabre Infestation as part of a contest with the outstanding BlockWorks team.
They have earned a spot on this list with their original interpretation of the horror genre.
3) The Spires of Lyceum by Forge Gaming:
7 players created this back in 2012 for the A’therys Ascended Server.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the team is still working.
However, videos of all of their work, including a video tour of the Spires themselves, can be found on their YouTube channel GazamoNetwork.
2) Auroria – New Heaven by Aranos:
Auroria was the invention of another person.
In a 2018 Planet Minecraft post, Aranos describes Auroria as his most ambitious project to date.
He wanted to make a group of islands where time seemed to move more slowly than it did elsewhere.
And last but not least,
1) A Futuristic Past by Will Loader:
Little is known about Will Loader, the artist who created this horrifyingly beautiful piece.
BlockWorks’ managing director, James Delaney, found images of the project in Beautiful Minecraft.
