The Minecraft 1.19 update was decent and added many features like mangrove trees, the Warden, frogs, new blocks, and mobs. But, fans did not seem satisfied with the update. The 1.19 update got mixed reviews from fans. The fans are looking forward to the new update and the features that will come with it. There are many unanswered questions from the 1.19 update, and fans eagerly wait for Minecraft 1.20 to answer them.
Fans are contemplating many theories about the mysterious structure in the center of the ancient cities. Is it a portal? What is there?
Let us look at the expected release dates and the features of the Minecraft 1.20 version.
Release date
Looking back at the previous updates and analyzing the patterns, Minecraft updates were made within 5 months. The last 5 update dates were: June 2022, November 2021, June 2021, and June 2020.
Other than the gap between June 2020 and June 2021 due to the pandemic, all the other updates have been within 5 months. So it is fair to expect the release of Minecraft 1.2 in November 2022.
But, there are speculations that this update will be huge and contain more additions and updates than any other recent update; there is a chance that the release might be delayed to December 2022 or even January 2.
Minecraft players are eager for the update to be out as soon as possible. But, it is worth waiting for a couple of months if the update will be on a large scale. But, things seem to be right on schedule and going pretty fast now that they have revealed the date for the Minecraft live.
Feature of Minecraft 1.20
Spectator view
The fans were teased with the spectator view in a Minecraft preview earlier in 2022. The developers are testing the spectator game mode for Minecraft. They showed it in Minecraft now, which happened in April. This mode allows the player to see through blocks and fly freely through solid parts. We can expect this in the 1.20 version.
New biomes in Minecraft 1.20
More minor Minecraft updates updated the existing biomes, the 1.2 update is larger, and we can respect new biomes in this update.
Apart from the new biomes, we can expect some older ones to be updated in this update. The desert biome, the badlands biome, the savanna biome, and the birch forest biome are some of the biomes that might get minor updates.
New mobs
Some of the mobs that might be added to Minecraft in the 1.2 version are Fireflies, Vultures, Ostriches, Meerkats, and even termites.
Apart from these, the developers might have a chance to port mobs like the badger from the Minecraft legends.
